LEADERSHIP IN LEARNING DESIGN
Leading learning through purposeful progression.

S.T.E.P. established a clear direction for physiotherapy education through: learning should become progressively more authentic, cognitively challenging and feedback-rich. Through these three dimensions, she guided students from foundational knowledge towards confident performance in complex clinical situations.
01
Authenticity
Students move from digital modules and virtual environments to simulation laboratories, standardised patients and whole-task practice in a realistic simulation ward.
02
Cognitively challenge
Learning tasks progressively require students to apply, connect and integrate knowledge as clinical scenarios become more complex and unpredictable.
03
Feedback
Feedback progresses from structured guidance to interactive, AI-supported, peer, expert and reflective feedback, helping students recognise gaps and refine their performance.
A progressive project journey.
Each project responded to a specific educational challenge. Together, they form a connected path towards confident clinical performance.

Our Team
Meet the people behind the reform. Our teaching and learning team brings together educators, clinicians, technologists and simulation professionals who drive the development and implementation of S.T.E.P.
Reconceptualise ➡ Reimagine ➡ Reform
Technology becomes meaningful when it is translated into sustainable, evidence-based educational change that strengthens teaching, protects patients and prepares confident, adaptable healthcare professionals.
